HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
We had a fun Halloween evening. Brennan was a turtle this year and I didn't see any other ones out there. He got a lot of "he's so cute" comments, which we heartily agreed with. After a trial-run of costume-wearing at a Trick-or-Treat Trail on Sunday and playing outside in his turtle outfit (see the first video), we did the real thing tonight.
He had fun and said thank you at almost every stop. We had to work with him on the "you only get one piece" concept, but by the end of the evening he had it. He also decided that he was better at putting it in his bag. Someone would go to place it in his bag and he would take it out of their hand and place it in the bag himself.
In the end, the turtle got his little bag full of candy and loved to dump it all over the floor, put it all back in and dump it out again. That's sounds fine to us. But since he doesn't seem too interested in eating it, we might have to help him...:0)
