Yes, yes, we haven't had a chance to blog in a while. With Don finishing up his senior year, going on trips for job interviews, spending time with Brennan, and other life things, it's been a little hectic.
Updates...., well, Brennan is 16 months old today (wow!). He's got a pretty good repertoire of words adding today "toast" and "pet". He can also say high chair, truck, bus, and wa-wa (water). I seriously think he may have said his first sentence too. He's learning face parts and knows nose, mouth, ears and eyes pretty well. He likes to point at other people's faces though, so often Don & I get a finger jab in the eye (his favorite). He'll point at one eye and say, "eye" and then he points at the other eye and says what sounds like, "and this eye." Clear as a bell :0).
He also has learned some fun animal noises: dog, cat, lion, monkey, cow, sheep, pig, and singing pigs (see "Moo, Baa, La La La" by Sandra Boynton). At Brennan's 15-month appointment he was 19 lbs. 3 oz. and was 30-3/4'' long. Still a little guy, but boy does he get around. He also got yet another haircut last weekend, so he looks even more like a big boy. And he's got his first two molars - finally! He's still working on the others though, hence the fingers in the mouth. So now here are some fun pictures:
Brennan went on a slide for the first time.

It was obviously a hit! Just yesterday, he learned to climb up on his own - very cool.
We also celebrated Easter together. Brennan woke up with some crazy rash-thing on his face, but that didn't stop him from having his first egg hunt. We "hid" (meaning we set them by a toy and then pointed them out) a few colored plastic eggs around the house. He loved discovering that inside were go-gos (Cheerios) and toh-tohs (goldfish) and that they shook. Also, we carried on the tradition of Don & Brennan matching (once again unintentionally - truly):

And here are some of Brennan playing on the playground:

We'll put more on again soon - promise!
