Little Theologian

While Brennan was home with Daddy on Friday, he proceded to take his book off the couch and thumb through it. He sat down on the floor and took some care to look at the pages. He didn't say much, but we're sure that it was formative.

Of course, within about 90 seconds Brennan was on to something else... we'll see if Brennan begins requesting Karl Barth for his bedtime story anytime soon.

Another interesting happening Friday was Brennan & Snickers, transfixed on something outside. Snickers has always had a habit of going to the window and looking outside at nature, and the creatures. He used to see a neighborhood cat on a daily basis when we lived in L.A.

Friday, it was an intense time at the window for the both of them...

Looking at a squirrel, that taunted them with his freedom!

Saturday, after an interesting day fit with hives & lots of clinginess to Mom & Dad, Brennan ate "dinner." No, not the ravioli with sauce & green beans that we'd hoped. Brennan ate a dinner of "toh-toh" or as we call them - goldfish! He did eat a little of the former - and made a huge mess too - but mostly it was goldfish. Oh well..

He seemed to be enjoying himself!

Gotta love the toddler eating habits!! He is so cute!! I love the picture with him staring out the window with Snickers. It looks like he just wants to be let out:)
